Award Winning Non Union Indie Short Film at Sarasota Film Festival by Production Designer Kelsey Hannah Walsh.

Edwin, a middle-aged high school English teacher, finds some excitement in his mundane existence when he discovers through a DNA website that his sperm donations in college have resulted in a son. He has no qualms about contacting this son, but others in his life might not be on the same page.

The Sperm Donor is a family drama non-union indie short film shot on location in Brooklyn, NY. With a tight timeline and a small but dedicated crew, the Art Department played a pivotal role in adding depth and emotional resonance to the film. Tasked with crafting a stylized visual world for the story, the Production Designer worked diligently to bring the Director and DP's vision to life while navigating the constraints of the limited budget. The careful consideration of lighting, color palette, and textures added a distinct and memorable style to the film.
