Down The Road Apiece

A lonely ranch hand in rural West Texas decides to risk the only life he's ever known when he falls for a hard-pressed woman stranded in the nearby town. He makes up his mind to leave with her, but things don't quite work out as planned.

For this indie film set in Texas, the Production and Costume Designer’s dual role ensured a seamless and cohesive vision. By overseeing every element of the film’s aesthetic, the designer established a color palette that tied together the world of the story.

Each set design and wardrobe choice was carefully considered to create an honest, naturalistic style reflecting the textures and tones of rural ranch life. The result was an authentic, unembellished portrayal of West Texas—one that captured its quiet beauty and grit.
