American Heart Association: Survivor Stories
This documentary-style video series for the American Heart Association shares powerful survivor stories of heart disease, stroke, and overdose. Each film highlights moments when loved ones and caregivers, equipped with CPR and lifesaving training, were able to step in and make the difference between tragedy and survival. The series aims to inspire audiences to pursue emergency training, reminding viewers that a medical crisis can strike at any time, and preparation can save lives.
The Production Designer collaborated closely with the creative team to shape environments that grounded each story in authenticity. While the videos were designed to feel like real-life documentaries, the settings were carefully crafted sets. Through thoughtful choices in set dressing, texture, and detail, the spaces felt real and supported the emotional weight of each story, allowing the audience to connect more deeply with their stories. The goal was to create visuals that felt both intimate and realistic—supporting the message that lifesaving action can happen anywhere, at any moment.
