Three siblings return home for their mother's funeral in this dark comedy indie short film. Chaos ensues when they realize she has left behind her cheeky pet parrot.

This film was shot on a tight timeline on location in Delaware and New York City. The small but mighty Art Department worked tirelessly to create dozens of custom bouquets, a complete spread of food styling, and curated set decoration that transformed the location and brought the story to life. The pastel color palette was carefully designed to transport the funeral setting into the comedic genre of the film. The set design brought to life the character of the mother and told her story without ever showing her face. Building the custom birdcage prop was a successful collaboration between the Art Department and the needs of our star, Magic the Cockatoo. The overall frilly, feminine world of the Production Design gives a distinct and memorable look to the film and a lighthearted surrounding for the story. The hard work of this project paid off as we proudly premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.
